Permabond® QFS16 accelerates cyanoacrylate adhesive cure rate to provide a shorter set time. It can be used in a variety of applications but is particularly suited for porous parts, poorly mated parts, wire tacking applications and applications where stress cracking of plastic could be an issue. It can also be used to cure excess adhesive “fillets”.

Permabond CA Solvent 100 is extremely effective for dissolving cyanoacrylate bonds or removing cured excess adhesive. It is not recommended for use on acrylic plastics.

Permabond® QFS10 accelerates cyanoacrylate adhesive cure rate to provide a shorter set time. It can be used in a variety of applications but is particularly suited for porous parts or poorly mated parts. Permabond QFS10 cures the adhesive before it soaks into a porous surface or runs out from between parts with sizable gaps. It can be used to accelerate cure on sensitive plastic surfaces such as polycarbonate without causing stress cracking. No discoloration of the part surface is observed when using Permabond QFS10. The activator can be sprayed on the surface or the cyanoacrylate to accelerate curing in wire tacking or similar bonding applications.

Permabond® Polyolefin Primer has been developed for surface treatment of polyolefins, PTFE and silicones prior to bonding with Permabond® Cyanoacrylate adhesives. Due to their low surface energy, plastics such as PTFE, Polypropylene (PP), Polyethylene (PE) and Silicones are difficult to bond without special surface treatment. Permabond® 4C40 provides faster set times and improved gap-filling capability compared to conventional cyanoacrylates. The adhesive bonds to a wide range of substrates including metals, ceramics, plastics and elastomers. It is excellent for bonding difficult-to-bond plastics such as polyacetals. It can also be used on passivated metal surfaces. However, after treatment with Permabond® Polyolefin Primer, durable bonds stronger than the substrate material can be achieved.

Cyanoacrlate (CA) Activator. Permabond® C Surface Activator (CSA) is used in conjunction with Permabond cyanoacrylate adhesives to promote a faster cure and to extend their gap-filling capabilities. It also enables fillets of cured adhesive to be formed if required and can be used to reduce the effects of blooming, which can affect decorative surfaces. Use of CSA also facilitates the bonding of porous surfaces. Permabond CSA can be supplied either as an aerosol spray, for ease of application, or as a bulk liquid for use in high volume applications.

PERMABOND® 4C30 is an intermediate viscosity, medical device grade, cyanoacrylate that is used to bond through intermediate gaps. It is fast setting and suitable for use on plastics, rubber and metals.

Permabond® HL138 is a single component liquid that cures only when in contact with metal parts and oxygen is excluded. Permabond® HH190 Gasketmaker is an anaerobic curing flange sealant that can replace, or be used as a dressing for, conventional pre-cut gaskets. Since HH190 is a flowable paste, it conforms to the shape of the flange. The consistency allows metal to metal contact of the flanges while filling the areas where no contact exists because of irregularities. HH190 results in uniform stress distribution and eliminates the need for retorquing because of stress relaxation of the flange bolts. It provides instant seal depending on the gap and flange width and ultimately seals up to 5000psi.
